So, I don’t have much to blog about this week, so here are some more updates… I am still doing Lupron injections and have gone up to three patches of estrogen a day, every other day. I must say, I am starting to feel a change in my body. I am starting to get nauseous from all the hormones. I’m also kinda moody (don’t tell my husband) lol! I get sad sometimes and cry without warning. It is kinda like it was when I was pregnant. I can’t believe we are only two weeks away from the transfer! I am SO excited! Oh, and my intended mother emailed me this week. I was so happy to hear from her! Her and her husband are so excited for this, they have been waiting a long time.
I have been doing my Bikram yoga consistently which has been so great. I am happy to report that I have lost three pounds! Yay! Only two to go to reach my goal. My nurse at Stanford said once we do the transfer I won’t be able to do the yoga anymore. (The yoga studio said they have a modified version for pregnant women that you can start after the first trimester. I will have to see if my OBGYN and intended parents allow me to do it then…) I’m sad that I have to stop, I have been enjoying it so much. It gives me energy and makes me feel so good. I am a little heartbroken, maybe that is the hormones talking…
Final thoughts, my husband pointed out to me that I made a mistake in my last entry. It wasn’t a nurse who did my ultrasound, it was a resident. I felt bad saying it was a nurse so I wanted to add that in here. This coming up Thursday I go back to Stanford for another ultrasound and blood test. I will start the next round of injections that night. It will be the last time I go to Stanford before the transfer. I’M SO EXCITED!!!
