We’re getting close!

I went to Stanford yesterday to have another ultrasound and to get blood drawn. A male resident performed the ultrasound this time. He had a rough start trying to insert the ultrasound wand, ouch! But after it was in it went fairly well, still uncomfortable and slightly painful as usual. They said that my ovary lining was at ten. Last time it was at one so that’s great. My blood work did show that they would like my estrogen levels to be higher so I started my Estrodile pills tonight. One tablet twice a day until after the transfer. I am still unsure when I start the other injections. I thought it would start last night but thankfully I have a few more days. I should find out tomorrow or Monday what day the transfer will be, I think that the retrieval of the egg is happening tomorrow..SO EXCITING! Other then that I am still doing Lupron and three patches every other day along with prenatal vitamins and baby aspirin. I have been having weird dreams lately. It must be the hormones. I dreamt that I was at Stanford with the intended parents and we were doing the transfer. The doctor put the embryo in and said, “It worked!” We were all so happy! Then he said, “It’s a boy!” I was surprised that he could tell the gender so soon!
I will post again as soon as I know when the transfer is! YAY!

I can’t believe you didn’t go into detail about the male resident. Tsk tsk!

I didn’t think it was appropriate…
