Yes, I know I posted yesterday, but I have very exciting news! I got a call from Stanford today and found out the transfer is set for one of two possible days. It will either be Saturday the 25th, or Monday the 27th. It is a little later then I had anticipated, but at least it is finally here! So the plan is: Saturday morning Stanford will call me and let me know how the embryo is. If it’s ready for transfer then we go at 10am that morning. If it is not ready we wait until Monday and go in at 9:50am. How exciting! I also found out that I start the progesterone intramuscular injections on Monday night…two days away… I’m so nervous. On the brighter side, I stop the Lupron tomorrow night. Yay! Those shots really weren’t painful or anything, I’m just happy that I wont have to do them and the butt injections all in the same night. That would be a pain in the… well, butt! Lol! (I crack myself up!!) Along with the start of the new injections, I am also starting another medication on Tuesday called Doxycyline. I was told to eat before taking it because they will probably make he sick to my stomach. Blah! Oh, and for the cherry on top, I will also need to start the vaginal progesterone on Wednesday. So all in all I will be taking vaginal Progesterone three times a day, Estradiol twice a day, Doxycyline twice a day, Progesterone injection once a day, prenatal vitamins and aspirin once a day, and three Estrogen patches every other day. Thank goodness I have a calendar to keep track of all these medications! Not to mention the support system from Stanford! Man, I have sent my nurse at least a dozen emails asking all sorts of random questions. She has been amazing!

Well, that is all. I will write again after the transfer happens. Either Saturday, or Monday! Have a great week everybody!

I know, I’m silly, but I like seeing ‘Surrogate Stephanie’ on all my paperwork :-)
